This is life...

So, I was telling you guys about how busy I was and all, so, to reduce my workload, I decided to drop a class, hence, i'm currently left with 12 credits for this sem, cutting my classes to only on Tuesday and Thursday. Yep, u heard me right. Only Tuesday and Thursday.

So, my weekend lasts from Thursday night to Monday night. Neat huh? Pretty neat. Sweetness! (Those who have classes on Monday, and Friday, gosh, how do you guys take up such schedule?) Lol.

Anyway, that's not the whole picture actually, I'm working Monday, Wednesday and Friday, morning AND/OR afternoon.

And to tell the whole truth, there are two other reasons that caused me to drop the class. 1) The timing of the class 2) The professor of the class.

Timing: It was on Monday and Wednesday 4-5.30pm, with some companies scheduling their information session at 5pm, I can't be at both places at the same time, hence, 1 need to be sacrificed.

Professor: He's great, but his teaching is very unorganized. No textbook, no slides, no coursepack, no nothing. No written down notes too. No final exam date yet. No whatever-that's-important. It was interesting, but I don't have to take the class, so, I decided to drop it altogether. Clean. Killing like 3-4 birds with one stone.

So, that's about my dropping of classes.

Football for the Wolverines had been awesome. FUN! great!!! Looking forward to the game against the Gophers tomorrow.

Other classes have been great, even though the IOE class is breaking my balls. All the homework, and case study, and midterm on Tuesday. Also, Math 520 midterm on Thurs. Gosh, and 2 companies, that are targeting actuarial students coming to campus next week. (2 came this week). It's just gonna be busy.

And, it's my mom's 54th birthday tomorrow. Happy Birthday!!! Love you!

It's been about a month of classes already, fall break in 2 weeks time, and then, halloween in about a month, then, Thanksgiving in less than 2 months, and then, Winter break in like 2.5 months. I think I got the rhythm of the semester already. Meaning, it will not be long until the end of semester. Trust me!

A long long time ago...

sorry for not updating my blog for such a long time... I've been really really busy, and well, just so busy that I've been back to my college-mode : 5-hr of sleep daily (weekends too, this is an 'improvement' from last year)... partly because of the 5 courses i'm taking, 5 no-joke classes, actually, 1 is, then, the 16-hour weekly work, and then, my extra-curricular involvement... thanks for the trust of fellow Malaysians here at the University of Michigan, I'm elected as the vice president. I gave it a long long thought as I wasn't sure that I can commit myself, physically (i'm running out of hours to get things done) to the responsibility, however, thinking that if I were to resign from the job, others will suffer too. So, hence, my free days and free times are streched to the fullest. Also, I'm the career chair of the Student Actuaries at Michigan (SAM), so, my job is too connect with employers and help them to schedule their on campus presentation, and other events. With this job, in a package, I'm the career center student liaison, so, I'll have to go to many information sessions, to make sure that the employers are happy, and get feedback from them, and then, report back to the career center.

yup, only 7 days and 5 nights a week... the other 2 nights (chilling with friends and also partying), there's only soooo much i can do... i'm mere mortal, no superhero... ;-)

Will post more details once I'm done with my homework... cheers...
