A meaningful video on Youtube!
Thanks to Chang Yang for the video link to this gem among thousands of videos on Youtube. Meaningful indeed. It definitely had me thinking about what's life is all about and what chasing dreams means.
Really, it had me thinking, whether the moral of the story is to really chase our dream, or, just to say that some dreams are unattainable that we should really just dream about it, and not try to achieve it... whatever it is, i think it's really a simple plot that has great depth in it.

I never took your for a literature critic! Should have taken you to see The Hours.. Kekeke..
I barely understand the video.. But if we are going to be critical about the video: It is clear that the Kiwi wanted to fly and that when he did 'fly', he was so overjoyed that he cried. What purpose did it serve to nail the tree down? That part eluded me.. The militaristic music and the WWII pilot's cap seemed to indicate a mission of sorts, perhaps suicidal..
And yet, what does it all mean? Was the Kiwi going over the edge and from what side to what other side? And it seemed quite happy to jump off the cliff. The fact that only at the end of the clip did the Kiwi's hands sprout - was it to underline the futile nature of its situation?
You should really go and watch Swimming Pool. Now, that's one very difficult movie to comprehend, but alas, holds many literary wonders!
we did went to saw The Hour for one of the ASEAN outing back in Msia... I think G1 and/or G2 was/were there too.
