Staying clean...
Hey guys... guess what?... i'm staying myself clean... clean from alcohol for 3 weeks...(hopefully) til my 21st birthday... why so? well... because it's against the law to drink under the age of 21 here in the states... and why again? well... because i just want to test my will and determination... and why again? well... i just need some self-reassurance that i'm not an alcoholic (yet)...
so... i didn't drink last week... a huge achievement... a great accomplishment...!!! an award-winning performance...!!!!
so, what did i do last weekend if i didn't get drunk and wasted... :)
Friday night... didn't do much... attempted to go CCRB... but overslept in my evening nap... i wanted to wake up at 9, but woke up at 10 instead... and the CCRB closes at 11pm on Friday... and 1 hour of working out is not enough... so, instead of doing what i planned, I went to watch winter olympics at my fren's place... nothing much... just hockey and then ski jumping... BORING... came back to my room, did some hw before i called it off...
Saturday... woke up this morning... at about 10am, dragged myself out of bed to go to CCRB... ran a good 5 miles... and then rowed (on the rowing machine) for 10 minutes... and then... that's about it... too tired to lift weights... afternoon... too tired from the run, physically, slept from 3 til 5 something... it was freaking cold out... in the -20 C region... slightly below zero for Fahrenheit... so, instead of going to Blue Nile Restaurant... an Ethiopian Restaurant for a buffet..(initial planned), we ordered delivery instead... Saigon Garden...(Vietnamese Food) really good food... and we ordered too often that the owner-cum-deliveryman know us from our order... :)... way to go... overstuffed ourselves... as usual, and then, we watched Star Wars IV... remastered version... then, it was still very early... did nothing much other than reading my Econ 402 notes... it's payback time... damn you Econ 402... (ooops... i can't believe i just said that...)
Sunday... woke up... did some math problems... then, went to work... and meeting... and then got back from work... did more math... and then, because of a shortage of ppl there, i worked another shift at night... (worked for a good 6+ hours that day... so much for Sunday as a day for resting...) got back about 8.30pm... watched Family Guy (R) at 9... then American Dad(R) followed... then, Grey's Anatomy... then, more studying... and some math...
Cool...???
Monday... woke up at 9+... kept myself in bed til 10+... did something... forgot wat... and then, classes, and nothing much again... and then, meeting at 9pm.... ASB... can't believe that we are heading down to Elm Mott, Texas this Saturday... really excited about the trip... why??
1) there isn't a particular person that i don't like in our group...
2) there'll be more than 40+ hours of driving for the entire trip... (and I'm not the one driving)
3) we will be working with animals... animals as in real animals... 4 legged creatures, some 2 and not from the same family as we are from...
4) it will be warm relatively in Texas...
5) in fact, we are a cheesy bunch of ppl...
6) i'll not be eating dorm food for a good week... a much welcomed change... but, i'm doubtful how our cooking would turn out to be... one thing for sure... the food will be much healthier...
7) and then, there's a 40+ hour driving... i know i said it once, but i think it's worth another honorable mention...
8) i know many ppl will be so jealous about my trip...
that's all for now... u guys take care.. and peace out... (it's been quite sometime since i last used 'peace out'... so i think it's OK for me to use it now...)

I'm sure you'll feel right at home.. On the farm.. With your brethren - I mean animals.. Heheh..
You remind me of my friend Tony.. He drinks like a fish but doesn't admit to being an alcoholic.. Absolutely drunk almost every night.. You name the drink, he's probably tasted it before..
I mean, geez man.. I don't have money to be an alcoholic!
hey... i only... i repeat ONLY drink on weekends... so, that's not far from absolutely drunk... and every night... not even on the weekend... so, that's even farther...and you name the drink, most prolly i've never heard of or tasted before...
so... i'm not YET an alcoholic... will let u be the first few to know if i'm turning one...
