I'm a FREE MAN!!!

So, as you guys know, last Friday was my last day at work, so, it had been pretty good for my last week because my colleagues were stopping to give me additional tasks, and let me finish what was on my plate because, after all, it was my last week.

So, it was all pretty and merry... going home at 7, reaching home 8 something... So, on Friday, my last day of work, we went to this nice Thai restaurant, Bangkok Jam at BB Plaza, where my colleagues gave Mel and Me another treat. Thanks guys!!!

It was a pretty long lunch, and by the time we got back to the office, it was nearly 3.30pm, and we needed to settle some things and all, after snapping a few quick shots, it's time for us (Kim Tat, Mel and I , the 3 interns at the project) to leave for KLCC, where we will be attending an interns social event...

there, we met all the other interns, 15 of us in total, and we introduced ourselves and also talked about what we learned from work, to sum it all up, we learned a lot about Excel and Powerpoint :)

So, we got to meet some of the full time hires of all level, and a little tour around the nice office, and after that, a makan-makan session, where we got to chat more over food... it was great getting to know other interns...

After that, it was about 7 by the time we were done with everything, I gave my colleagues a call and told them where we would be for drinks. Since it was Friday nights, the bars were packed. But luckily enough, we got a place a Chinoz in the Park, which had pretty good atmosphere and ambience, for chatting, and some good Tetley's. so, I had 2 pints of Tetley's, and I think that was the most I had in one session since coming back to Msia. QOTD: Do you know UK pint is bigger than US pint?!?! Now you know. :)

After the drinking, it was about 9.30pm, I walked around the KLCC complex to kill some time so that I can reach Kelana Jaya at around 10.30pm, just in time for my bro to pick me up from the LRT station. So, got home at about 11pm, did nothing much...

Got a great night sleep, did nothing much on Saturday, other than going to Sunway Pyramid, wanted to watch the movie Click, but couldn't get the ticket, and hence, screwed the plan, and went straight for Genki Sushi, which was not as good as before, and then, went hunting for presents for birthdays of 2 friends, and then, got it, and went home. At night, after dinner, went to my friend's place for his birthday party, met up with a bunch of old friends, and it was great.

Sunday, went badminton early morning, at 10am, not really that early come to think about it. Landed awkwardly on my left ankle, wasn't too bad, just a lil bit sprained, and went home at about 11.30am, rushed out again after a rushed shower, going to Kajang to visit uncles and aunts, and had great paper-wrapped chicken for lunch, and then, got home at about 5pm. Started killing creeps playing Tower Defense... dang, I still can't beat the very hard mode with using heroes... crap... I feel dumb..

Monday, woke up this morning at 10, just enjoying how good it was to be not working...(the waking up late part was good, but, OK, wandering around the house, having nothing to do is sooo not me.. i'll admit, I'm a workaholic... so, big deal??) anyway, went to renew my passport at about 11.45am, got there, filled up the form, which cost me RM 1, and then, took photos there. RM 7, and then idiotic me, forgot my pen, and hence, needed to borrow from others (one of my biggest mistakes for some time as I had always been bringing a pen with me, since started college, unforgivable)

So, after I had everything prepared, I queue up (line up) for a number, and then, got to know that my number was of the next batch, after lunch. Dad and I went to meet up with his friend and we went for good fish-head curry... after lunch, we got back to the immigration office at 2pm, and waited a good 45 minutes before my number was called. My new passport would be good for collection tomorrow (today) afternoon...
